Why silicone coated Intermediate belt is the preferred choice for the wood-based panel industry ?

In the production process of wood based panel, the press feeder belts (Intermediate belt) is a key transmission component in the hot pressing process. Its performance directly affects the quality of the board, production efficiency and equipment stability.

The core role of the Intermediate Belt

1. Uniform transmission and pressure distribution

The board is pre-pressed (fiber/particle + adhesive) is smoothly fed into the hot press to ensure that the board is evenly pressed under high pressure ( usually 10-30MPa ) and high temperature (180-200℃) to avoid uneven density or stratification.

2. Heat conduction and buffering

Balance heat transfer during rapid temperature rise, reducing board edge warping or core curing due to local overheating.

3. Anti-deformation support

Preventing the board from deforming or breaking under high pressure.

1. High temperature resistance (primary)

Temperature range: Ensure that the material can withstand the production line temperature (usually 180-200℃) for a long time to avoid breakage due to high temperature softening or aging.

Thermal stability: Prefer choose the materials with low thermal expansion coefficient (such as aramid, special coated polyester) to reduce the risk of thermal deformation.

2. Tensile strength and wear resistance

Tensile strength: Choose high strength materials to withstand continuous high pressure and tension and extend service life.

Wear resistance: The surface needs to be resistant to friction (such as adding silicon coating) to reduce the loss caused by friction of the board.

3. Dimensional accuracy and stability

Thickness uniformity: Avoid differences in board density due to belt uneven thickness

Creep resistance: Select materials that are not easily deformed under long-term loads to ensure board forming consistency.
