Timing belt model numbers usually consist of a series of letters and numbers. Among them, the letters indicate the type, structure and characteristics of the synchronous belt, and the numbers indicate the size and specifications of the synchronous belt. Below is an explanation of some common timing belt models:

1. HTD timing belt: HTD is the abbreviation of High Torque Drive, which means high torque transmission. It adopts a curved tooth structure and is suitable for high torque transmission and high power transmission.

2. STS synchronous belt: STS is the abbreviation of Super Torque Synchronous, which means super torque synchronous belt. It is similar to the HTD type synchronous belt, but has a stronger structure and is suitable for transmissions that can withstand greater torque.

3. MXL timing belt: MXL is the abbreviation of Mini Extra Light, which means mini ultra-light timing belt. It adopts a small size and lightweight design, suitable for limited space and low power transmission.

4. T type timing belt: T-type synchronous belt is also called "lattice belt". It has the advantages of positive transmission coefficient, low noise and large load-bearing capacity. In some high-speed and high-load transmissions, T-type synchronous belts are widely used.

Secondly, the identification of synchronous belt usually includes information such as model, number of teeth and length. For example, in "HTD 5M-390-15", HTD means high torque synchronous belt, 5M means the tooth pitch is 5mm, 390 means the synchronous belt length is 390mm, and 15 means the number of teeth of the synchronous belt is 15.
