Precautions for using adhesives for PVC conveyor belts

1. PVC Conveyor Belt adhesive contains organic solvents, and the use environment should be kept ventilated. It should be stored sealed in a cool and dry environment at room temperature (20°C). When using quick-drying adhesives for bonding, remember to avoid open flames and keep a distance of 50cm when baking.

2. The curing agent is a special product and cannot be substituted. After mixing, the glue should be used up within 2 hours and cannot be left for a long time.

3. When placing the mixed glue solution in another container, the remaining glue and curing agent should be tightly capped and stored in a cool, dry place.

4. The glue should not come into contact with water, and the adhered PVC Conveyor Belt should be kept dry, otherwise it will affect the curing degree and bonding strength. Do not use this adhesive in an environment where the temperature is less than -40°C or the humidity is greater than 80%. Take the belt.

5. When bonding belts in low temperature or humid environments, the adhesive film must be baked and the time for standing and curing should be increased. The longer the time, the higher the bonding strength.

6. If the glue thickens due to solvent evaporation, add an appropriate amount of diluent (such as toluene, xylene, etc.) to dilute it, and mix it evenly before use.

7. When the viscosity increases during storage in a low-temperature environment and gel appears, which is commonly known as "jelly", the iron drum can be sealed and heated in hot water at 60~80°C, and the performance will return to unchanged.
