Five Commonly Used Belts in the Wood-based Panel Industry

1. Forming spreader belt

In the production, the laying process is to spread wood fiber or other plant fiber evenly on the conveyor belt for subsequent forming and pressing. In this process, the laying equipment plays a key role, ensuring the uniform distribution and appropriate thickness of the fiber, which is crucial to the quality and performance of the final product

2. Bin bottom belt

Bin belts are used in various process stages of wood-based panel manufacturing, such as wet fiber bin, storage bin, wood chip bin, preheating bin, dry fiber bin, transition bin, fiber metering bin, etc. They are an important part of the bin. Different types of belts are used for bin belts at different locations. The bin belt needs to have high lateral stiffness and precise thickness, and the surface has good demoulding properties to prevent wood chips from adhering to the belt.

3. Deaeration belts

The Deaeration belt can quickly absorb the moisture on the wood surface, thereby speeding up the drying speed, and drying method does not require the use of chemical agents and is environmentally friendly

4. Prepress belts
