Several kinds of wear and tear caused by the use of pattern conveyor belts

(1) Due to friction and wear between the belt edge and the frame due to deviation of the pattern Conveyor Belt

The conveyor belt should run on the center line of the idler group. However, due to defects caused by the manufacturing, installation, and use of the conveyor belt, the conveyor belt often deviates from the center line and deviates. Generally, the conveyor belt runs in the direction of the bandwidth. A deviation of 5% is allowed. When there is too much deviation, the conveyor belt comes into contact with the roller bracket and the frame, causing the edge rubber to wear. When the deviation is serious, the conveyor belt will even flange. If there are screws in the radial direction of the roller, The head, cleaner block and other raised parts, or the frame gap is too small, can easily cause the conveyor belt to crack, and the twist cover glue to partially peel off and scratch.

(2) Pattern conveyor belt wear caused by guide material removal baffle

As mentioned before, the wear of the baffle on the conveyor belt is a special kind of wear. If the design method of the baffle is improved and maintenance is paid attention to, this kind of wear can almost be avoided. In order to prevent materials from falling off, strong rigid rubber is installed at the loading point (generally used waste tape has a higher stiffness), and a large pressure is pressed against the conveyor belt, which is the main cause of wear. Sometimes, during installation, we only start by reducing the pressure of the baffle on the conveyor belt. When the baffle is worn to a certain extent, the wear will be aggravated when materials enter between the conveyor belt and the baffle.

(3) Wear of the cleaner

The wear caused by the cleaner on the patterned conveyor belt is usually uniform, but when a harder slat is used as a cleaning plate, if it is used improperly, the rubber other than dirt will also be cut off. When foreign objects enter between the tip of the cleaner and the conveyor belt, deep marks will be made on the entire length of the conveyor belt.

(4) Wear of rollers

The lower cover glue of the conveyor belt is also affected by the impact of the self-aligning rollers and the forward tilting rollers. Wear occurs in the transition section from the box roller to the roller and the curved bulge of the conveyor. When the rollers and rollers rotate poorly for some reason, the wear of the cover layer under the conveyor belt will also be aggravated.
